Edit a photo by describing the change in a sentence

No masks, no layers, no selection tools. Write what should be different: add a cat on the sofa, make the sky overcast, take the logo off the shirt. The rest of the picture is left alone.

Why describe an edit instead of drawing one

Plain language in, a finished edit out: no mask to paint and no path to trace
Add, remove, replace or recolour part of a photo from the same one box
Several editing models to choose between, so a stubborn edit has a second opinion
Untouched areas stay untouched, so the result still looks like your photo
Iterate in sentences: run it again on the result until it is right
Your upload is processed to produce the result and never used to train a model

Use cases

Taking one distracting object out of an otherwise good photoAdding something that was never there, in the right light and the right placeProduct shots that need a colourway the sample never came inCleaning up a listing or a thumbnail without opening an editorSmall fixes a client asked for after the shoot was wrappedTrying three versions of a change before choosing one

Smart edit, answered

Do I have to select the area first?

No. That is the whole difference: you write the instruction and the model decides which part of the image it applies to. For an edit confined to an area you want to draw yourself, use inpaint instead.

Which model does the editing?

An instruction-following edit model, and you choose which one. They differ in how literally they read an instruction and how much of the original they hold on to, so a change one refuses is often fine on another.

How much does it cost?

It runs on credits, and the credit cost is shown before you run it. New accounts start with free credits and there is a free allowance every day.

Can I keep editing the result?

Yes. Each run returns an image you can feed straight back in with the next instruction, which is usually faster than writing one long sentence that asks for everything at once.
